Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Eggs The boys who inspire Lemon Lime Adventures love TMNT (that’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to you and me) so she came up with a way to put Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello into the Easter baskets. Colored plastic eggs, colored tape and some googly eyes and you have turtles! The mutant ninja variety… if you want to mix it up a little bit, you can use yellow and blue eggs to make Minions!

But the marshmallow and crunchy cereal aren’t the best part — it’s that she made a little hole inside to store tiny treats like M&Ms!

So simple and so cute — the tiniest hands can put this together. It involves little more than cutting out a few paper triangles and gluing them to plastic Easter eggs. It’s amazing how many fun things can be made from eggs!

While some people use these as bookmarks, Modern Parents Messy Kids turns them into our favorite Easter symbol to create a fun garland. Create a template of an egg, trace it on pastel paint chips, cut them out, thread them with baker’s twine and you have colorful egg bunting to string up in every room of the house! And, with the right scissors, it’s an easy enough project for a child of any age to put together.sugar-eggs

Panoramic Sugar Eggs This craft is a favorite — the panoramic sugar Easter egg. These grace the cases at specialty candy stores every spring and they look as complicated to make as they are as charming. Most people would leave this one to the professionals, but Fav Family Recipes took on the challenge of making them at home and, we must say, their eggs are spectacular.
