Pumpkin Cookies With Brown Sugar Frosting

Recipes Makes 9 Dozen Cookies

Ingredients

1 Roll Refrigerated Chocolate Chip or Sugar Cookie Dough

1/3 Cup Flour

1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans

24 Caramels

2 Tablespoons Half-And-Half

1/3 Cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips

1 Teaspoon Sea Salt

Directions

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2: In a large bowl, mix together the cookie dough and flour. Knead together until blended.

Step 3: Roll the dough into tablespoon sized balls and then roll each one into the pecans. Make sure the pecans are pressed into the dough. Evenly line cookie sheets with the dough balls.

Step 4: Bake the cookies for 12-16 minutes. You’ll know when they are done when they are golden brown on the edges.

Step 5: After removing cookies from the oven, create an indentation in the center of each cookie. Note: the best way to make an indentation is to use the handle of a wooden spoon.
